Google Removing Custom Date Search filter for Mobile Users

Google recently announced through the Google Web Search Help forum that they are dropping the custom date search filter feature for the mobile users.
Mobile searchers on Google will no longer be able to use the custom date search filter. Users are able to access the custom range search option only on desktop, not on mobile.
Mobile Google searchers will only be able to view the past one hour, past 24 hours, past week, past month and past year data.
