Microsoft to acquire LinkedIn for $26.2 billion

Microsoft announced on Monday, June 13th 2016, that it is buying the professional networking website LinkedIn for $26.2 billion. The transaction has already been approved by both, and expected to complete the deal in this calendar year.
LinkedIn CEO Jeff Weiner will remain CEO of the LinkedIn and reports to the Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella.
